Our plush mattress topper can stack on top of our standard mattress, effectively turning it into a pillow-top mattress. Alternatively, you can use the plush topper to soften any existing mattress to relieve pressure points and support your body's natural curves, while you can add the firm topper to any existing mattress to provide more resilience and gentle support. Made in our Tecate, Mexico, facility.

• GOLS-Certified Organic Latex

• We use Dunlop latex in our mattresses because it is more eco-conscious than Talalay latex, which requires more processing. We make our own GOLS-certified organic latex from our co-owned farmer's societies in India, operating under the USDA's National Organic Program. It's made with ≥95% certified organic latex, the highest possible standard. Dunlop latex is naturally antimicrobial, cooler than memory foam, and requires no adhesives to seam it together. It is processed in a GOLS-certified organic facility in India. Our plush mattress topper uses one seamless layer of soft Dunlop latex (D65 / 14-19 ILD), while our firm mattress topper uses medium-firm Dunlop latex (D75 / 20-25 ILD). We do not use blended or synthetic latex or chemical adhesives, and there are no seams to break down over time. To be extra thorough, our latex is even eco-INSTITUT certified, a certification for products fulfilling the strictest requirements on pollutants and emissions following the latest state-of-the-art international research and science.

• GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton

• Rather than using wool, our Vegan Mattress uses 400 grams of GOTS organic certified cotton batting per square foot.

• GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton Cover

• For a luxurious and premium finish, we use breathable GOTS-certified organic cotton in a soft, natural color. We craft the top panel with 100% stretch organic cotton and a thin, non-woven backing, per Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) accessory requirements (required to keep the organic materials from shifting during production and to ensure the natural fibers do not clump or "work" through the cotton layers over time). The bottom is made with an organic cotton canvas to keep the topper from slipping. The top and bottom perimeters feature our distinctive reinforced green double-stitched edges and organic cotton tape along the bottom edge.

• Vegan Certified – No Wool or Animal Products

• Avocado vegan products contain no animal products or animal byproducts, such as wool. We do, however, produce products that do contain wool, and shared machinery and facilities are used between our vegan and non-vegan products. However, we have demonstrated verifiable acceptable steps that we take to thoroughly clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools and machinery used between vegan and non-vegan production cycles to minimize cross-contamination.

• As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions. • Try your Vegan Mattress Topper for at least 30 days. If it's not right for you, you can request a return and refund within the first 365 days, according to the terms of our Sleep Trial Policy. The Vegan Mattress Topper is also covered by our 10-Year Limited Warranty. All returns should be placed and shipped in the original packaging and box.

• Legal Label

• A law label is a legally required label on mattress products. It specifies the interior filling materials using government-regulated language. Few companies share this information prior to your purchase. We believe differently. Here’s what the legal tag on an Avocado Vegan Mattress Topper (Queen size) actually says: Made in Mexico with internal materials (based on weight) consisting of Natural Latex (83%) and Natural Cotton Fiber (17%), plus a 100% Organic Cotton cover. Note: NO polyurethane foams, NO memory foams, NO synthetic foams, NO latex blends, NO chemical adhesives, and NO chemical flame retardants are used!

• Common Questions

• If my old mattress is too hard, uncomfortable, or causes joint or pressure-point pain, will a mattress topper help? Yes! It will add gentle, resilient cushioning. It has the potential to improve your sleep experience.

   

  If my existing mattress has a dip or sag in the middle, will a topper help? No. We would recommend purchasing a new mattress.

   

  If I have added a topper to my standard Avocado Green Mattress, will I essentially be creating a pillow-top mattress? Yes. The end result and sleeping experience will be very similar, and you can select your firmness preference for the latex in the topper.

   

  What maintenance is required? Occasional turning (once every other month) is suggested to promote longevity. No flipping is required.

   

  Can I add a two twin toppers to a king-size mattress? Yes. Two Twin XL toppers can be placed side by side on a King-size mattress, allowing you to make one side firm and one side plush.

   

  Which topper is best for my sleeping position? Back and stomach sleepers tend to prefer a firmer topper, while side sleepers tend to opt for a softer topper.
