AMERICA'S MOST SUSTAINABLE FURNITURE COLLECTION

Sustainability never looked so good. Elegant and durable, our 100% beechwood collection will add a touch of brightness to any room. Tell anyone who sees it that we make it entirely with upcycled wood from our FSC-certified facility (C156318) in Los Angeles. Our Zero Waste Collection is part of our mission to divert more than 80% of our waste from the landfill and complete our Zero Waste Certificate — and to be one of the most sustainable companies on Earth.

100% UPCYCLED WOOD, CRAFTED IN CALIFORNIA

No particleboard. No fiberboard. Nothing hollow. We craft our Zero Waste Collection with 100% upcycled beechwood. Beech is an abundant hardwood we source in the U.S. And it’s ideal for furniture — impact resistant and durable. We're proud to craft our furniture, including our Zero Waste Collection, in our FSC®-certified Los Angeles woodshop, where we make everything to order with exceptional attention to quality, durability, and detail.

PROJECT ZERO WASTE

In 2020, Avocado became the first bedding company to have its Landfill Waste Diversion rated Validated by UL. In 2021, we developed more products made with upcycled materials to further limit our waste. Now, we have an entire line of furniture made with upcycled wood remnants from our Los Angeles facility. By being intentional about our materials and manufacturing, we’ve achieved an overall waste diversion rate of 69%. Our goal is to achieve its Zero Waste to Landfill certification by recycling more than 80% of our waste. Implementing zero-waste practices and reducing our environmental impact is essential if we want to make meaningful strides in the fight against climate change and ensure a better, healthier planet for future generations.
