Sleep on your new Avocado pillows and bedding (including our mattress protectors and sheets) and allow your body time to adjust. Your 100-night sleep trial begins after you receive your pillows or bedding (30-days for throws). During your sleep trial, if you decide that your Avocado pillows or bedding aren’t right for you, please contact us. A member of our sustainability team will reach out and have it donated for a full refund. (Returned pillows and bedding cannot be resold.) All orders that are canceled after they have shipped, returned to sender by the customer, or returned prior to the minimum 30-day trial period required within the Sleep Trial Policy are subject to a 15% order cancellation fee. Once we confirm receipt, you’ll receive a full refund. The funds can only be returned to the original form of payment.
Exclusions: (1) Our serviceable area for complimentary returns is the 50 states of the United States only, including Alaska and Hawaii. If your pillows or bedding are located outside the USA, you are responsible for any costs associated with return of the product. Avocado is not responsible for any costs incurred from repackaging and cannot reimburse customers for a replacement box or packaging services. (2) If you finance your purchase via Affirm, you’ll receive a full refund less any applicable financing fees paid to date directly via Affirm. (3) Products must be in a condition suitable for donation to be eligible for return (i.e., no stains, tears, excessive odors or soiling) with the law tag (not applicable for sheets) attached to the product and in its original, unaltered state. We request photo(s) to confirm that your pillows and bedding are in appropriate condition to be donated. Protect your purchase by following the care instructions. (4) Our sleep trial is limited to one of each applicable product type per household. If you exchange a product, it ends your sleep trial for that product type (mattress, topper, base, sheets, protectors, pads) and no other sleep trials are eligible for your household in the future for that product type. (The only exception is pillows, for which two may be returned from a single order, since they are often bought in pairs.) We define this household-wide policy by your customer name, or shipping address, or billing method/account or billing address. (5) In-Home Delivery & Setup services are nonrefundable. (6) Items within a “bundle” product may not be returned or exchanged, except in the event of a defect, as defined in the Product Warranty.
FAIR SLEEP TRIAL
Obviously, it takes time to adjust to new pillows and bedding. Although we do not put requirements on how long you must sleep on your new pillow or bedding before requesting a Sleep Trial Return, we do respectfully ask that you give it a fair and honest trial — 30 to 60 days. Your body needs time to acclimate to see if you sleep more deeply, breathe more easily, and wake more refreshed and energized.
WHAT HAPPENS TO RETURNED PILLOWS + BEDDING?
We have an extremely low rate of returns during the trial period, but, yes, it does happen. When it does, we arrange to have your product donated. We will coordinate everything for you. (We have an excellent support team.) Because we are a green company, we do our best to ensure that returned pillows and bedding are donated to a local charity, in the spirit of our Giving initiative. Rest assured, we do not resell previously used pillows or bedding, and we only use all new materials in every product.
We do not charge a restocking or return shipment fee with your 100-night sleep trial (Avocado is not responsible for any costs incurred from repackaging and cannot reimburse customers for a replacement box or packaging services). Most other brands charge a restocking fee, or require you to pay for the return shipment (expensive). This is intended to limit returns, by making them too costly or difficult. We don’t do that.
