Organic Mattress Maker Avocado Green Mattress Named First Winner Of 1% for the Planet Pinnacle Award
Award recognizes ethical, sustainable mattress brand for leadership in giving program and sustainability efforts
HOBOKEN, N.J., April 22, 2020 — On Monday, 1% for the Planet recognized Avocado Mattress — makers of organic and eco-luxury sleep products — as the inaugural winner of the Pinnacle Award. The achievement honors a business that raises the bar for environmental responsibility and goes above and beyond the commitment to the organization, which includes donating 1% of all annual revenue to environmental nonprofits. Avocado Green Mattress has supported 30 nonprofits that address 1% for the Planet’s six areas of focus: climate, food, land, pollution, water, and wildlife.
