Linen is woven from the renewable stalks of the flax plant, one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world. That’s because its naturally hypoallergenic fibers make for a highly breathable, absorbent, and fast-drying material. The textured fabric is coarser than cotton, but it softens over time. A TOUCH OF THE COROZO NUT
We use corozo buttons to enclose our Natural Linen Duvet Cover. Corozo nuts come from the Tagua tree, native to lowland rain forests in Central and South America. The unique grain pattern of the nut makes them incredibly durable and scratch proof. Because the material is natural, the buttons will feature some variation in color. They are also a renewable and biodegradable material, and no trees are cut down for their harvest.
SIMPLE CARE
Machine wash on a gentle cycle with similar colors in cold water and eco-friendly detergent. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or whiteners. Line dry or tumble dry low and remove promptly. We do not recommend fabric softeners or dryer sheets, which reduce the absorbency of linen. Use wool dryer balls as a natural alternative.

Plus, it only gets better, softening with use. They are woven to 165 gsm (grams per square meter) of fabric, making them medium-weight — both breathable and durable. We make our duvet cover buttons from corozo nuts, a renewable and biodegradable material sourced from the Tagua tree, native to lowland rain forests in Central and South America.
