NONTOXIC, BREATHABLE, & LUXURIOUS

Rest your head on our ethically-made, luxuriously-finished Organic Mini Pillowcase, stitched in our Los Angeles factory with 400 thread count, 100% GOTS organic certified cotton. Not only is our fabric safer for you and the environment, it’s also gentler to the touch, with a sateen weave that creates an extremely smooth, lustrous feel. An envelope design keeps the pillow from sliding out of the pillowcase.

GOTS Climate Neutral

BEAUTIFUL, LUXURIOUS COTTON

The cotton in our Mini Pillowcase harnesses a 400 thread count and a sateen weave finish. Sateen is a four over and one under weave, which maximizes the surface area and gives it its subtle sheen and silky luster. It’s buttery soft. Our premium cotton also makes our pillowcase more breathable and airy, sleeping cooler than lesser cottons or synthetic materials.

ORGANIC SLEEPS BETTER

Why does organic matter? Because conventional cotton is a polluted crop. Certified GOTS organic cotton is held to a stricter standard and ours is responsibly and sustainably grown in India without pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. This is better for you as well as our family farmers. Best of all, organic cotton delivers a luxurious finish, breathes easily, and wicks away moisture better than any synthetic material.

CERTIFIED SAFE

Every Avocado Organic Mini Pillowcase is Formaldehyde Free and GREENGUARD Gold Certified. That means they’re scientifically tested to meet the world’s most rigorous emissions standards for chemical exposure and pollutants, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, and phthalates. Few pillows qualify for this gold standard. The pillowcase is also MADE SAFE Certified — a rigorous scientific screening process that only allows the use of ingredients that are not known or suspected to harm human health, animals, aquatic life, or ecosystems.

A CARBON NEGATIVE PRODUCT

In 2019, Avocado Green Mattress became the first mattress company to become Climate Neutral Certified, effectively making our business “carbon neutral.” A year later, we took it a step further by going carbon negative — offsetting more carbon emissions than the company generates. Carbon offsets are vehicles for paying to remove carbon from the atmosphere or to prevent greenhouse gases from getting there in the first place by financing things like forest conservation or clean energy.
