Silk is a natural, biodegradable fabric that requires less water to harvest than other fabrics. Mulberry silk is woven from the cocoons of domesticated silkworms that feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree. It’s recognized as one of the most awesome fabrics in the world — fine and light yet exceptionally strong and durable. The weight of the silk in our pillowcase is 22 Momme (mm) — a midweight, durable, lustrous weave. It’s also hypoallergenic, completely odorless, and certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®

Momme (mm) is a measurement of the unit of weight of silk. The higher the momme, the more durable, dense, and luxurious the weave. Our Mini Silk Pillowcase has a 22 momme, a midweight, lustrous, elegant silk — one of the most luxurious, temperature- and moisture-regulating fabrics in the world. The benefits don’t stop there.

Washing your Mini Silk Pillowcase is easy. Place it in the included protective wash bag. Secure the closure by tying the drawstring in a knot to prevent the pillowcase from falling out during the wash cycle. Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle. Hang dry and avoid direct sunlight exposure. Do not bleach.

We're proud to be certified by UL Solutions for a landfill diversion rate of 85%. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill — we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this.   • We use 100% GOTS certified organic cotton (CU863637) for the mesh wash bag and the drawstring closure used to protect and wash your Silk Pillowcase. Responsibly and ethically sourced from India, our durable organic cotton has received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®: Class 1 certification (15.HIN.75800, Hohenstein HTTI), to ensure no harmful substances are present as a result of processing, including banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes.
