NEW! Organic Cotton Sheets
ORGANIC COTTON SHEETS
Silky, soft, and safe, our luxurious Organic Cotton Sheets have a 400 or 600 thread count single ply weave. They are light, breathable, and silky smooth, with a buttery sateen finish. Made with 100% GOTS organic certified Indian cotton and deluxe thread counts, our Organic Cotton Sheets are the perfect combination of comfort and sustainability. They’re MADE SAFE® Certified, so you can trust they don't contain toxic materials, and no part of the manufacturing process was harmful to humans or the environment.
Our renewable and sustainable bedding delivers a luxurious finish and a breathable membrane. It also wicks away moisture better than any synthetic material. Our Organic Cotton Sheets use 100% GOTS organic certified cotton. It's not just a higher-functioning material. Conventional cotton is a polluted crop. And organic cotton is held to a stricter standard. Ours is ethically grown in India without pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. This is better for you, our family farmers, and the planet.
SILKY SATEEN FINISH
The beauty of our Organic Cotton Sheets is in their sateen finish — a tight weave that makes the sheets feel silky and soft to the touch. Sateen adds a lustrous sheen to the sheets, adding a luxurious, cozy feel to the organic materials.
MORE THREADS, MORE COMFORT
The “thread count” is the number of threads woven together in one square inch of fabric. These numbers are often inflated — most sheets are multi-ply, which means threads are layered and twisted to gain a higher count for marketing purposes, while compromising the sheet’s quality. Our Organic Cotton Sheets are a true 400 or 600 thread count single-ply made of extra long staple organic cotton, so they are finer and softer.
Made with a manufacturing process that reduces water and electricity consumption, our Organic Cotton Sheets are pre-washed and processed to maintain a neutral pH level providing a safe touch to the skin. We’ve also worked to reduce the amount of wasted fabric during production. The effort is part of the broader environmental mission, like our Farm to Mattress concept, that drives Avocado.
TRANSPARENCY & PROVENANCE
Our cotton is purchased directly from family growers to ensure 100% traceability. We believe in getting to know the farmers and experiencing the farms where the cotton is grown. Each bale of cotton arrives at our cotton mill for processing with a unique number, allowing complete traceability from farm to the final production process. This process uses the latest technology to create the most efficient, productive cotton spinning system in the world — essential to produce the finest quality yarns available anywhere.
Sleep with complete peace of mind knowing our sheets are MADE SAFE® Certified — a rigorous scientific screening process that only allows the use of ingredients that are not known or suspected to harm human health, animals, aquatic life, or ecosystems. Plus, our cotton has received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®: Class 1 certification (15.HIN.75800, Hohenstein HTTI) to ensure no harmful chemicals are present.

For standard cottons, or even most other long staple cottons, a high thread count does not translate to a better quality sheet. Using single-ply yarns, most cottons achieve a maximum thread count of around 400-500. After that, multi-ply yarn must be used, which generally indicates a lower quality cotton that needs multiple plies woven together for strength. No multi-ply yarn is used in our organic cotton sheets.
Organic & Non-Toxic Certifications
GOTS® Organic Certified Cotton (CU 863637). The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®, certified by Hohenstein #18.HUS.40240. This ensures this product has passed strict testing for banned chemicals and harmful substances. MADE SAFE® Certified, to ensure no known or even suspected toxins that could harm human or ecological health are present.
Wash with like colors in warm water. Use mild natural liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach or whiteners. Line dry or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. As a natural alternative use wool dryer balls. Iron hot or steam as needed.

PLASTIC OCEANS INTERNATIONAL
People buy 500 billion plastic water bottles worldwide every year. More than 90 percent of all plastics are never recycled. The result? Eight million tons of plastic dumped in the oceans annually. The consequences are devastating — diminished ecosystems and wildlife as well microplastics in our own food and water systems. That’s why Plastic Oceans International is on a mission to end plastic pollution. Through advocacy, activism, education, and science, the nonprofit hopes to change the world’s attitude toward plastic and thereby influence public policy and consumer and corporate behavior.
