Our Superfine Suvin Sheets are the most exotic, sustainable, and luxurious sheets available — anywhere. Made with only the finest 100% GOTS organic certified Indian Suvin Cotton, Avocado Superfine Suvin Sheets have unparalleled luster, drape, and softness. What is Suvin? It’s one of the most highly-prized and rarest cottons in the world — considered the “king” of all cottons. With a lavish 600 and 1,000 thread count Sateen finish and incredibly high tensile strength, our Suvin Sheets the perfect combination of durability and softness. Of course, they’re STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and MADE SAFE® Certified — which means they’re lab-tested and screened to be free of harmful substances and toxins.
Indian Suvin Cotton is the jewel in the Indian cotton crown, nicknamed “Suvin Gold.” Only a few thousand bales of this rare, heritage cotton are grown each year in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Harvested by hand and rarer than Egyptian Giza cotton, it is generally not available in the U.S., particularly at our extreme thread counts and natural state. Suvin cotton is an extraordinarily natural and breathable fiber, for your coolest, most luxe sleep yet.
Suvin is one of India’s top heritage Extra Long Staple (ELS) cottons. A unique property of Suvin Cotton is its extraordinary fiber length, enabling it to be woven to very high thread counts without sacrificing its exclusive softness and silkiness. Suvin’s 38-40 mm fiber length puts it leagues ahead of other cottons, including Pima Cotton (34 mm), Supima Cotton (34 mm), and even Egyptian Cotton (31.5mm - 36mm). Its unrivaled quality and our unique manufacturing process means that over time — the more you wash these sheets — the more luxurious and soft they become.
MORE THREADS,LUSTER & LUXURY
The “thread count” is the number of threads woven together in one square inch of fabric. Many manufacturers count individual threads twisted together to make a single thread, which leads to a misleading, inflated thread count. But Suvin is different. Because it’s the longest cotton fiber in the world, it enables an extremely fine yarn to be woven. As the yarn becomes longer and finer, it develops a more luxurious feel and a silky pearlescent luster — not to mention increased durability. A true 600 and 1,000 thread count Superfine Suvin Sheet set is the pinnacle of eco-luxury.

TRANSPARENCY AND PROVENANCE
Our Indian Suvin cotton is purchased directly from family growers to ensure 100% traceability. We believe in getting to know the farmers and experience the farms where the cotton is grown. Each bale of Suvin cotton arrives at our cotton mill for processing with a unique number, allowing complete traceability from farm to the final production process. This process uses the latest technology to create the most efficient, productive cotton spinning system in the world — essential to produce the finest quality yarns available anywhere.
The entire Suvin production process — from growing to harvesting, spinning and dyeing — is Global Organic Textile (GOTS) organic certified. Our Superfine Suvin Sheets are sustainably produced in a manner that values the environment as much as the lives of the people that produce it. Our Natural (Raw) color option takes sustainability to the absolute extreme — it is produced with 100% green energy from windmills. From the raw pieces of cotton to the finished sheets, absolutely no dyes are added to the product — retaining its beautiful and unique natural raw buff color and making it safer for you and your family. The result is a manufacturing process that, when compared to conventional practices, uses only 12% of the water and 17% of the standard energy.
Our Avocado Superfine Suvin Sheets are MADE SAFE® Certified — a rigorous scientific screening process that only allows the use of ingredients that are not known or suspected to harm human health, animals, aquatic life, or ecosystems. The sheets have also received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®: Class 1 certification (15.HIN.75800, Hohenstein HTTI) — which requires annual lab testing to ensure no harmful substances are present as a result of processing, to include banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes.

Organic Superfine Suvin Cotton Sheets
Made with 100% Organic Indian Suvin Cotton — the longest, finest, and rarest cotton in the world. Often called White Gold, only a few thousand bales of this superfine cotton are grown each year. Suvin is the crown jewel of cottons, prized above all others for its extraordinary strength, unparalleled hand-feel, and luxurious luster. Suvin fibers have an average length of 37mm, a super-premium 3.10 micronaire (a measure of fineness, most cottons are 3.7 - 4.7).
GOTS Organic Certified by Control Union for all materials and the finished product.

Up to 1,000 Thread Counts
Our Suvin Cotton Sheets are available in a single-ply 600 and 1,000 threads per inch (TPI) options.
For standard cottons, or even most other long staple cottons, a high thread count does not translate to a better quality sheet. Using single-ply yarns, most cottons achieve a maximum thread count of around 400-500. After that, multi-ply yarn must be used, which generally indicates a lower quality cotton that needs multiple plies woven together for strength. Organic India Suvin is different. Because it is the longest and finest cotton in the world, it is woven in a single-ply to extremely high thread counts per inch, with a super premium 2.8-3.0 micronaire (fiber diameter and maturity). No multi-ply yarn is used.
To make the softest sheets you will likely ever experience, our Organic Suvin Cotton features a sateen weave. Sateen is a four over and one under weave, which maximizes the surface area and gives it its subtle sheen and silky luster. It’s buttery soft and perfect for year-round luxury.
Suvin is a hybrid of Sea Island cotton from St. Vincent in the Caribbean and an indigenous Indian variety called Sujata. Often called ‘White Gold’ or the "Cashmere of Cotton,” only a few thousand bales are grown each year in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Suvin is a straight variety (not a hybrid) and as yet not genetically modified. Cultivation requires 210-220 days from the date of sowing.

Wash with like colors in warm water. Use mild natural liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or whiteners. Line dry or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. As a natural alternative use wool dryer balls. Iron hot or steam as needed.

PLASTIC OCEANS INTERNATIONAL
People buy 500 billion plastic water bottles worldwide every year. More than 90 percent of all plastics are never recycled. The result? Eight million tons of plastic dumped in the oceans annually. The consequences are devastating — diminished ecosystems and wildlife as well microplastics in our own food and water systems. That’s why Plastic Oceans International is on a mission to end plastic pollution. Through advocacy, activism, education, and science, the nonprofit hopes to change the world’s attitude toward plastic and thereby influence public policy and consumer and corporate behavior.
