WHAT ARE ORGANIC SHEETS?
Organic sheets are better for you and the planet. An organic certification confirms the materials were grown without the use of pesticides or other toxins known to be harmful to human and ecological health. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria.

HOW DO I KNOW IF A PRODUCT IS REALLY ORGANIC?
When shopping for organic sheets, be sure to look for trusted certifications, like those from the Global Organic Textile Industry (GOTS), that distinguish between marketing and actual impact. GOTS is a third party that validates materials to the highest environmental and socially-responsible standards.
WHAT IS THE GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD?
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. That means you can trust that anything that’s GOTS certified meets the highest standards for social and environmental responsibility.
ARE ORGANIC SHEETS WORTH IT?
Organic sheets sleep better. That’s because they’re more breathable than stuffy synthetic- or pesticide-grown alternatives. Organic cotton sheets and organic linen sheets have that crisp, cool feeling. Plus, long-staple organic cotton sheets are made with longer cotton fibers, so they’re softer and less prone to pilling. Our Organic Linen Sheets are garment washed, a pre-wash that increases comfort and keeps them from shrinking, losing shape, or fading. You can trust that our linen is of the finest quality. And our Organic Hemp Sheets aren’t just made with one of the most sustainable fabrics on the planet — they’re incredibly comfortable, too.
ARE ORGANIC SHEETS SOFT?
Yes, organic sheets are typically softer than conventional sheets grown with pesticides. That’s because organic sheets don’t use harsh chemicals, and organic cotton uses longer fibers. Single ply weaves and high thread counts are also important factors for soft, breathable organic cotton sheets. Organic hemp and linen sheets just get softer with each wash.

HOW DO YOU WASH ORGANIC SHEETS?
Wash organic sheets with like colors in warm water. Use mild natural liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or whiteners. Line dry or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of textiles and are not recommended. For a natural alternative, use wool dryer balls.
ARE ORGANIC SHEETS DURABLE?
Organic cotton, hemp, and linen sheets are very durable. Long-staple organic cotton sheets are made with longer cotton fibers, so they’re softer and less prone to pilling, too. Linen and hemp are textured fabrics that are coarser than cotton, but they soften over time and never pill or shed.
