A MODERN PLATFORM BED FRAME
Simple yet exquisite. Handcrafted with 100% sustainably harvested maple or walnut wood, our Malibu Platform Bed Frame combines tasteful elements with modern touches ā like rounded edges, brass accents, and easy assembly ā for a classic design that will never go out of style. Both maple and walnut are high-quality hardwoods that are durable, resilient, and sustainable. And the woods' beautiful, natural patinas add to their exceptional appeal. No toxic, VOC-emitting glues or finishes are ever used. Elevate your bed frameās already beautiful style with an optional 41-inch or 46-inch tall headboard (ideal for the Luxury Plush Mattress). Every piece is made in our clean energy-powered, FSCĀ®-certified (C156138) Los Angeles facility, which combines traditional craftsmanship with innovative technology and meets stringent standards for social and environmental responsibility.

SLEEK & SPACE-SAVING
This is not your grandmaās bulky antique bed frame. Our Malibu Platform Bed Frame is created to fit perfectly in small bedrooms, tiny corners, and studio apartments. And thanks to its crisp, simple design, it will add a bright and cozy aesthetic to your sleep sanctuary.

100% DURABLE, SUSTAINABLY HARVESTED WOOD
Because of its abundance and shorter life span, maple is one of the most sustainable timbers. Itās also a hardwood, so it's extremely resilient. At Avocado, we handcraft all our furniture and use real wood. We believe in letting the rich character of the timber speak for itself. This way, every piece is original, with its own slight variations. It costs a little more to do things this way. But our customers love having unique, durable, thoughtfully crafted furniture that will last generations.

NATURALLY SAFE
Furniture paints and stains are toxic, known to emit harmful VOCs that negatively impact indoor air quality. To make matters worse, the Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and particleboard commonly used in furniture often contain carcinogens such as Urea-formaldehyde or Phenol-formaldehyde. Our Malibu Platform Bed Frame uses 100% naturally non-toxic maple or walnut wood, non-toxic Titebond Wood Glue, and eco-friendly ECOSĀ® Paint wood varnish. In addition, our membership to the Sustainable Furnishings Council backs up our commitment to providing furniture and products that are better for you and the planet.

ELEVATE YOUR STYLE WITH OUR OPTIONAL HEADBOARD
Feel like you're missing something? Opt for our beautifully made, solid wood Malibu Platform Bed Frame Headboard. Handcrafted in our FSCĀ®-certified factory in Los Angeles, it features the same quality maple or walnut wood as the bed frame. Itās also simple to attach the headboard by inserting the included screws into the pre-drilled holes. Headboard is optional and must be purchased at the time of bed frame purchase.

COMPLETE THE SET WITH OUR MALIBU DRESSER & NIGHTSTAND
This furniture was made for each other ā literally. Our matching Malibu Dresser and Malibu Nightstand are made in Los Angeles with sustainably harvested maple. The pieces also feature birch wood, soft-close drawers, and matte-gold finished handles. Their elegance and exceptional craftsmanship are unmatched.

A CARBON NEGATIVE PRODUCT
Avocado is a certified B Corp and a carbon negative business. That means we voluntarily reduce, measure, and offset more than 100% of our emissions, from resource extraction all the way to shipping, by supporting carbon offset projects through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. (We also power 100% of our factory with renewable energy sources.) Our offset projects help mitigate climate change and support innovation in addressing greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

ZERO WASTE &
BIODEGRADABLE
We believe in a circular economy that accounts for the life cycle of our products. Thatās one reason we always use natural, biodegradable materials. Whatās more, our FSCĀ® certified California factory, which we power entirely with renewable energy, is on its way toward a Zero-Waste certification, meaning almost nothing gets thrown away. We recycle or upcycle all our material byproducts. The effort is consistent with our mission to set a new bar in environmental and social responsibility.
