The charcoal infusion means this pillow is not GOLS certified at the material level (GOLS requires 95%+ certified organic latex content), but the finished pillow is GOTS certified organic. Yes. The Molded Latex Pillow is one of our best options for hot sleepers. The perforated latex core allows air to circulate freely through the pillow rather than trapping heat at the sleep surface. The charcoal infusion adds moisture management. The GOTS-certified organic cotton cover breathes rather than insulates. The organic cotton cover is removable and machine washable. The latex core itself should not be machine washed. Spot clean the core as needed and allow it to air dry. Adding an organic pillow protector extends the life of the pillow and reduces how often the cover needs washing.
