CONSCIOUS LUXURY, SUSTAINABLE SLEEP
Enjoy the finer things in life — like our luxurious Silk Duvet Insert. Exceptionally soft yet durable and long-lasting, our airy, lightweight comforter delivers the optimal sleeping temperature. That’s because it’s crafted with ultra-fine mulberry silk, a lustrous natural fiber known for its moisture-wicking, thermoregulating, and breathable properties. And instead of virgin silk, we harness recycled silk to reduce waste and keep this sought-after textile from ending up in landfills. We encase the silk filling with a 400-single-ply sateen weave for an elegant sheen and satiny feel. The result is a divine comforter designed with sustainability at the forefront.
RENEWABLE, RECYCLED MULBERRY SILK
While silk production requires less water than other fabrics, it also relies on domesticated silkworms that feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree. That's why we use recycled silk for our Silk Duvet Insert. It’s a more ethical option compared to virgin silk. Plus, recycled silk reduces waste by keeping this coveted, exquisite fiber out of landfills and giving it new life as luxurious, sustainable bedding.
We encase the duvet insert’s recycled silk filling with wondrously soft, GOTS-certified organic cotton. Stitched in a lavish, 400-thread-count sateen weave, it’s the perfect combination of comfort and sustainability. Organic certified cotton is also more breathable than synthetic alternatives. Ours is ethically grown in India without pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. This is better for you, our family farmers, and the planet.
The duvet insert’s recycled mulberry silk filling and GOTS-certified organic cotton case are unbelievably moisture-wicking, breathable, and temperature-regulating. A lighter option to keep hot sleepers and anyone living in warmer climates cozy and comfortable. So snuggle up in our Silk Duvet Insert during cool autumn nights and enjoy breezy, cool sleep on humid summer evenings.
Washing your Silk Duvet Insert is easy. Simply machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle. Hang it to dry and avoid direct sunlight exposure. Do not bleach.
