We handcraft our Avocado Green Mattress Toppers with the finest natural and organic materials, including GOLS-certified organic latex harvested from our tree farms, GOTS-certified organic wool from our sheep farms, and GOTS-certified organic cotton. Designed to rest on top of your existing mattress, they change the comfort of your existing mattress — contouring to your body's natural curves with added cushioning. Made in our own Tecate, Mexico facility.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC LATEX
Instead of polyurethane foams, Avocado mattresses feature GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex (CU 863637) rubber foam from sustainably harvested from our facilities in India and Guatemala. Our new Box-Top plush model adds two layers of FSC-certified Talalay latex.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC WOOL
Our GOTS-certified organic wool (CU 863637) does what other materials cannot — it wicks away moisture, stays fresh, and acts as a natural fire barrier. It’s also anti-microbial, resistant to dust mites, and offers natural temperature control to help you sleep cool.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON
Our luxurious, button-tufted mattress covers are made with breathable GOTS-certified organic cotton (CU 863637) — one of the softest and most comfortable fabrics. Organic cotton is cool, wicks away moisture, and, better still, is more sustainable than conventional cotton.
FIRM OR PLUSH
Our mattress toppers use 2 inches of GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex in two firmness options. If your mattress is too soft, our firm topper (D75 medium-firm latex) will add gentle support and resilience. If your mattress is too firm, our plush topper (D65 soft latex) will provide a more plush feel.
SLEEP COOL
Most mattress toppers are simply a slab of polyurethane foam or synthetic latex. Not ours. Our toppers mimic the cushioning layers of our award-winning mattress. To keep you cool and dry, our toppers feature a generous layer of GOTS-certified organic wool, quilted under the cotton ticking and above the latex core. Why is wool so important? Because of its singular thermoregulation properties. Wool wicks away moisture, adds bounce and allows air to circulate naturally. This helps keep you cool when it's warm and warm when it's cool.

We handcraft our toppers with the finest GOTS- and GOLS-certified organic materials in our factory. Our latex is made with 95% or more organic material.
MADE SAFE
We craft our green mattress toppers with natural and certified organic materials that promote health, well-being, and sustainability. Our Avocado Green Topper is certified to MADE SAFE® standards — a rigorous scientific process that screens for toxins known or suspected to harm human health, animals, aquatic life, or ecosystems. Our latex also meets the eco-INSTITUT label and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® standards for non-toxicity.
HANDMADE QUALITY
Our organic mattress toppers are handmade in our facility and include double-stitched seams, reinforced top and bottom perimeters, and an organic cotton canvas base. The quality and workmanship can be seen and felt, which is why it has earned the coveted Good Housekeeping Seal.
SAFE EMISSIONS
Our mattress toppers are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and Formaldehyde-Free. It means they've been tested to meet rigorous third-party emissions standards for chemical exposure and pollutants, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, and phthalates. Few mattress toppers qualify for both of these safety standards.
