CERTIFIED ORGANIC

Rest easy knowing our Sateen Organic Cotton Pillowcases are crafted with organic cotton — without polyester or synthetic blends. Soft on the skin and the environment, its purpose is twofold: restful sleep and eco-consciousness. Better still, organic cotton is also naturally temperature-regulating and wrinkle-resistant.

SILKY SATEEN

Compared to our Percale Bedding, which is ultra-breathable and ideal for hot sleepers, our Sateen Bedding is designed to keep you warm and cuddled up. That’s because sateen cotton features a premium, thicker thread quality and loose-knit weave that’s a tad weightier and more insulating. Sateen cotton is also known for its gorgeous, luminous sheen and incredibly silky feel that only improves with time.

OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED

The organic cotton we use for our Sateen Organic Cotton Bedding is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified (15.HIN.75800). This verifies that the cotton has been lab-tested and screened for harmful levels of toxic substances to protect your health.

Climate Neutral Certified

As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions. We also recognize our offsets and reductions aren't enough. Solving climate change will require systemic solutions. That's why, through our partnerships with Ceres and the American Sustainable Business Network, we also advocate for state and federal policies that support equitable solutions to the climate crisis.

PROJECT ZERO WASTE

Avocado is always seeking innovative ways to be more sustainable — while never compromising the luxury feel of our products. From materials to manufacturing and shipping, we understand that every small decision contributes to our larger impact. Implementing sustainable, zero-waste practices is essential if we want to make meaningful strides in the fight against climate change. In 2022, by being intentional about our materials and manufacturing, we expanded our production facility footprint from two to five while still increasing the amount of waste we diverted from landfills by 9%, achieving an overall waste diversion rate of 78%. Our goal is at least an 80% diversion rate. Read more about Project Zero Waste.
